St. Johnsbury Ice Skating at Four Seasons Park and Portland Street Park

Take a break from exploring our miles and miles (and miles and miles…) of cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails and put something new on your feet. Lace-up those ice skates and spend an afternoon exploring the Northeast Kingdom’s ice skating rinks!

St. Johnsbury maintains two outdoor ice skating rinks: Four Seasons Park at the corner of Main and Winter Streets and Portland Street Park near the Concord Avenue intersection. Further north, visit the Newport City Skating Rink on Gardner Park Road in Newport. The closest ice skating opportunity to Highland Lodge will be Lyndonville’s Fenton Chester Ice Arena. Public skating is available every Wednesday from 2:30-4: 15 PM and Sunday from 2:00-4: 00 PM for just $5.
