Just four miles away from Canada, Jay Peak is a massive mountain with an even more impressive average annual snowfall of 349”, or twenty-nine feet (the most in Eastern North America). Last year, there was a whopping 491” of snowfall at Jay Peak. Needless to say, it was one of Vermont’s best ski seasons yet. Besides breathtaking views of the landscape, Jay Peak offers fifty miles of skiable terrain on its 78 trails served by nine lifts that make the most out of its record-breaking snowfall as far into spring as mid-April. And taking the road less travelled is what Jay Peak is all about; groomed trails are suggestions, so if you’re someone that would rather make his own way, Jay is for you.
